Step into the evening and discover the hidden world of bats… As daylight fades over Llanyrafon Manor, the grounds come alive with one of nature’s most fascinating nocturnal creatures. Join us for a guided bat watching evening within our beautiful nature reserve. We are fortunate to have several species living on site, including: • Lesser Horseshoe Bats • Brown Long-Eared Bats • Common Pipistrelle Bats
What to Expect • A short introduction to bats and their behaviour • Guided walk around the manor grounds at dusk • Use of bat detectors to hear bats in real time • Watch bats flying over the grounds, trees and water • Relaxed, small-group experience in a peaceful setting
Extras • Complimentary teas and coffees available • Optional time to sit and enjoy the evening atmosphere after the walk This is a quiet nature-based event, not suitable for large groups or disruptive behaviour • Weather dependent – alternative arrangements will be provided if needed
Younger children will receive bat colouring sheets and pencils
Parking On-site parking available, including disabled spaces
